PTA says users can now block unwanted calls, SMS

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has as of late reported that it would do whatever it takes to impede spam and unwanted phone calls and messages.
In an authority warning, that’s what the PTA said: “undesirable calls and messages can be problematic yet there are steps individuals can take to limit them.”
Blocking telemarketing communication
The people who don’t wish to get selling-related messages can enroll their number on PTA’s Do Not Call Register (DNCR).
They should simply type ‘reg’ and SMS to 3627.
That’s what the notice added assuming the issue continues to happen, clients can contact their separate specialist organizations.
The people who wish to get the selling correspondence messages again can type ‘unreg’ and make an impression on 3627.
Block spamming/unsolicited communication
The people who wish to hinder spam or spontaneous correspondence can type the spammer’s cell number, give space, glue the got message, and SMS it to 9000.
Block obnoxious/unknown calls and messages
Clients who are tired of repulsive and obscure calls and messages can now hinder them by dialing *420# (for Jazz, Telenor, and Ufone endorsers), or 420 (for Zong supporters).
Do not share personal information
The PTA likewise exhorted clients not to give out their own data, for example, account numbers, passwords, or some other data because of obscure or startling calls and SMS.
